Living Room
For many visitors to London, Church Street Kensington and Kensington High Street are the best locations for a quiet visit to London. Kensington Palace was once the residence of Diana, Princess of Wales; Princess Margaret, and other members of the Royal Family. It was originally the home of King George I and the early Hanoverian kings who chose the area because of its fine air and proximity to Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. Today, the area is a wonderful residential area with convenient shopping and tube connections. Church Street is known for its fine antique shops. Kensington High Street has excellent shops, restaurants, and clubs. The High Street Kensington tube station is a five-minute walk from our flat on Palace Gardens Terrace. Actually, the property is equally positioned between Kensington High Street and Notting Hill Gate. The accommodation we are offering is on the garden level, stepping down from the sidewalk into a small entrance area, but is open to a small sitting area at the back, offering full and natural light--really nice. The lounge is a very comfortable room with comfortable furniture and decorative items gathered by the owner from his extensive travels around the world. The kitchen is new and open plan with the lounge. There is a dishwasher, washer/dryer combo, microwave, etc. The master bedroom has a queensize bed and ample storage; for cool sleeping, French doors open on to a small patio. There is a single bedroom, again with doors which open on to the small patio. Three people can comfortably sleep in this proprty. The bathroom is a very good standard with a shower mounted in the tub. Considering the location and standard and the price, this is an excellent property for a business visitor or a tourist to London. It is light and bright while offering such comfortable accommodations. HIGH-SPEED INTERNET with wireless router (802.llb/g) has been installed for those traveling with computers. For those who enjoy jogging and lovely walks in gardens, remember Kensington Palace Gardens are immediate to this comfortable property. Property is designated non-smoking.
